What is the significance of the spring equinox?

It signifies the commencement of spring. Spring holds a lot of important symbolism in GOD’s Creation Order. It is the commencement of plant life after the long cold winter season. Creation itself appears to resurrect with leaves, flowers, and fruiting. Bird and animal life liven up, and of course mankind itself enjoys all of these coupled with experiencing a new period of bounty, abundance and even liberty. It is the approach of summer. Our Saviour referred to this symbolism in one of His Parables.
